We recently received a
request for assistance from David J. of Sun City, California who
served honorably in the U S Army from from 1956 - 1060. David
is 74 years of age and has a difficult time getting around because
he has glaucoma and has to rely on others for transportation to and
from the grocery store, doctor visits church etc. Because of
the economy, those who have so graciously helped David have asked
him to help pay for the fuel. Unfortunately David does not
have the financial resources to do so. With the generosity of
those who support our organization we contacted ARCO a division of
BP Oil and purchased $500 of prepaid gasoline cards for David so
those who help him get around will continue to do so. |
