Robert, who served honorably in both the US Marines and then the US Army recently had to renew his CDL (Commercial Drivers) license.  He failed the exam because of a extreme loss of hearing due to his service in the military.  Robert has applied for and will receive disability payments from the VA and he is being re-trained.  Unfortunately, in these trying economic times Robert and his wife found that they could not pay rent.  With the kind donations from caring people we were able to pay the rent for Robert and his wife.  They should be okay once Robert is re-trained in his new employment.

The human heart feels things the eyes cannot see, and knows what the mind cannot understand.

My family is so grateful to your organization for such a quick response into our immediate need.  You help us to keep from being evicted from our home. I am still in shock at how quick the response came the same day.  You showed us that there are still people out there, that even though the economy is hurting everyone, you could take time out to help someone who needs it when they need it the most. God bless you for all that you done for this family.  I recommend anyone who is looking for someone to care about their situation and really wants to help to be told about this organization I know that I will be telling everyone that I come in contact with.  Once again thank you so very much.

Although my need is great,
My gratitude is more

Gena & Ray
